Our philosophy is a simple one; we work as a team, providing 2 wedding photographers, one of whom will take the more structured formal photographs, whilst the other takes the more informal reportage style shots. This way 'You & I' can capture a full range of images giving you a true reflection of your wedding day, and memories to cherish in the years to come.

We are very aware that this is your special day, and pride ourselves on helping it be just that. Everyone’s been to a wedding where the photographer is a little too big for his or her boots and seems to like shouting a lot. Well, we’re not going to do that, we are here to document your day in the style you want and not to boss anyone around, that’s what the ushers are for.

These are the photographs everyone knows about, the bride and groom, the friends and family group shots, that kind of thing.

The photographer will ask you to look at the camera, or even strike a pose if you like that sort of thing.

In the context of your wedding, this refers to the informal photographs, the ones where the photographer captures moments without drawing attention to himself, capturing those spontaneous moments like the groom's mother sorting out her son's tie or Aunt May’s amazing hat being blown off in the wind and Uncle Gerry having to chase it down.
